The Disaster Response System is a GIS-based database that contains information on various resources that can be used in planning an appropriate response to a disaster. The resources include food sources, water sources, medical facilities, evacuation facilities, utilities, and village-level data. Each resource has information about its location, available stocks and services, and contact information for the resource.

Presently the system has been developed as a demonstration for a cluster of villages in Mandakini valley of Rudraprayag district.
